YARD RACES

Straight Race

  • The straight race can be designed to any length to suit you

  • Race bows or permanent posts are used to stabalise the race

  • Each race bow and panel has feet to allow you to bolt them down as a semi-permanent option

  • If the race is very long (as pictured below), adding a sliding gate can make it more efficient when pushing them up to the crush

Curved Race

  • Curved races are best for cattle flow and more efficient to work

  • A curved race can be manufactured using a long panel on the outside and a short panel on the inside OR rolling the rails to create the curve

  • Sheeting the race can further improve cattle flow to avoid distractions that may frighten the cattle

  • The outside of the race can be fully sheeted and the inside can be non-sheeted, half sheeted or fully sheeted

  • If the race is fully sheeted on the outside and the inside, a walkway and handrail can be added to give the operator easier access to the cattle
