The EC2000s are designed to support the farm’s animal management program by utilising electronic identification (EID) technology and a weigh site computer, or a data collecting EID scanner. The personal computer or data collecting EID device collects the weight from the EC2000s and combines it with the EID tag data at the time of weighing. In this application the weighing system does not perform the animal management task and the EC2000s therefore provides EID support as an alternative
to the 3000 range.

If a personal computer or data collecting EID device is not used at the weigh site, any of the 3000 range can be used in conjunction with a simple EID reader. This will allow for the collection of ID tag and weight data and for the performance of weigh site management tasks.

The EC2000s can also be used as an entry level indicator, offering fast, accurate weighing, allowing you to incorporate EID technology at your convenience.

Features of the EC2000s include:

Fast and accurate live animal weights within 3 seconds.
A statistics function provides average weight, count, total weight, minimum and maximum weight statistics at the touch of a key.
Large 25mm backlit LCD.
Hold weight key retains the weight after the animal has stepped off the platform.
Undo record key allows incorrectly recorded weights
to be erased.
Stable light tells you when to record the animal’s weight
Up to 50,000 animal weights can be recorded
Low battery warning message displays approximately
10 minutes before the battery goes flat.
Auto zero on/off option ensures platform is zeroed out.
Fine mode allows weighing down to a resolution of 0.1kg – ideal for smaller animals or fleece.
